Pilot Testing of VR Drought Awareness Module

Amman, Jordan - A pilot testing session of a Virtual Reality (VR) module focused on drought awareness was successfully conducted in collaboration with the University of Jordan - Land, Water and Environment Departmentand the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC).

The session aimed to explore the use of immersive technology to enhance understanding of drought conditions, water scarcity, and sustainable environmental practices. Participants engaged with the VR module, experiencing realistic scenarios that demonstrate the impact of drought and the importance of effective resource management.

The pilot provided valuable insights into user engagement, learning outcomes, and the potential of VR as an innovative educational and awareness tool.

A refined version of the module is under process and will be tested soon.
